Non-Hydraulic lime mortars have been used since Roman times and many of our period properties would have originally been built using lime products of this type.

The highly workable nature of our fat lime products ensures that you can achieve a superb finish with our Fine and Ultra Fine plaster which, when applied in the correct manner, will be superior to modern gypsum plasters.

Coarse Stuff is used externally, or internally as a backing plaster or where a more rustic, rough finish is desirable. This finish is also suitable for use as a traditional render.
It is available as a traditional animal haired option or as our new “Fibrelime”.

Our Non-Hydraulic lime products are manufactured using high quality Buxton lime and carefully sourced and blended sands. They are used extensively for historic buildings and conservation projects.
