Environmental policy
The Company’s first obligation is to its stakeholders which the Company recognises as its shareholders, staff, government, suppliers and customers. On behalf of the shareholders and staff we can state that our personal beliefs are strongly aligned to high environmental morals and we recognise that our environmental obligation is to the whole planet and our joint future.
Our policy is to become a truly sustainable business. This means having the ability to continue providing our customers with high quality products and services in ways that enhance the environment.
We seek to achieve this by:
- Promoting products that are good for the environment by being low in the carbon use cycle, prolong the useful life of buildings, improve or maintain the aesthetics of fine buildings, use natural products and products from sources that are renewable in the short term.
- Acting in accordance with environmental codes, consents and directives issued as local, national and European directives.
- Protecting the environment through minimising pollution, emissions and waste.
- Conserving the environment through considerate use of raw materials, energy and other supplies.
- Operating in a socially responsible manner encouraging and training stakeholders to participate in environmental matters.
- Leading by example to contributing towards sustainable development by integrating sustainability into business practice.
